Tasting - Cresta Azul
Name: Cresta Azul
Variety: Moscatel, Macabeo, Parellada, Xarel-lo
Region: Aguja
Country: Spain
Year: NV
Price: $5.95
Winery Review: Peach, orange cream and vanilla flavors mingle in this softly bubbly white. Off-dry, but with crisp acidity and a clean finish.
My Review: This whine was clear and visibly fizzy. It was light on the palate, and there were less bubbles than I had expected from my visual observation. It was sweet without being overly so, and had nice overlays of fruit flavor.
I tasted this wine on its own, without food.
